Founded in 1947, Oasis World Outreach Church began in the small retirement town of Zephyrhills with a burden to see the manifest works of the Holy Spirit in their community. Moving to their present location in 1980, the church became an established lighthouse in the East Pasco area. With high expectations, this body of believers began envisioning a ministry that operated in the power of the New Testament church. In April of 1995, Pastor Michael and Tena Sloan assumed their roles as Senior Pastors and began working to make this vision a reality. Today, Oasis World Outreach operates as a community oriented church that continues to grow under direction of the Holy Spirit. We have ministries that comprise a well-organized effort to reach our world for Jesus! Oasis World Outreach employs several full-time staff members and countless volunteers committed to reaping harvest. We want to be a church where you experience God in a real, relevant and refreshing manner and to be the church that you have always longed for.

We make a bold commitment to love people for who they are, meet them where they are in life and to be real. Therefore, in today’s world we feel that is a necessity. We are committed to loving and caring about people regardless of social status, physical circumstances, or ethnicity. Through one-on-one encounters, small groups, prayer ministries and corporate worship, we extend our hands to you. At Oasis World Outreach we want you to feel loved, welcomed, and a part of the family.

At Oasis World Outreach you will find unreserved acceptance from real people just like yourself. Jesus accepts us even though we have many things in our lives that do not meet his approval. It is out desire to bring a relevant message of love and hope through Jesus Christ. The acceptance of Christ does not imply His approval of our unworthy behavior, but it reveals His acceptance of us as we are and the grace He extends to each of us. We believe that if Jesus can love and accept us, then we will want to do the same.

Life can be tough. There can be a constant pull on each of us. This is why we desire for our church to be an Oasis of refreshing to those that enter. No person is an island unto their self. Life often creates a mirage that leads to hurt and disappointment. We are a church that extends love, acceptance, and forgiveness. The Lord sends people to us that need to be refreshed and made whole.

“Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ, God forgave you.” Eph. 4:32
