Oasis World Outreach is a church with a vision to reach the lost, to impact the world, and to involve people in the ministry of Jesus Christ. If we can be of any assistance in helping you connect please feel free to contact us. Building MaintenanceOasis World Outreach is a growing ministry with a large facility and grounds. This is a wonderful place to volunteer. If you are looking for a place to minister and enjoy working with your hands, this is the place for you. If you would like to participate in this ministry see JR Davis or contact him at jr@oasisworldoutreach.org Christian EducationThe teaching of God’s Word and the training of adults and children is our number one priority at Oasis World Outreach. We provide opportunity for age appropriate Christian education each Wednesday evening at 7:00 PM. Classes for each age group from nursery age to adults are available each week. Our youth are exciting, in love with Jesus, and a tight knit group that joins together for activities, Bible study, worship, and many other events. Click Here to Visit Our MySpace Profile Hearts with Hands Bus MinistryEach week dedicated workers flood Pasco County with the message of Jesus Christ. Saturday mornings are dedicated to contacting adults and children that Sunday is coming and the bus will be there. Sunday morning’s dozens of smiling faces fill our buses and arrive ready to worship at Oasis World Outreach. The Bus Ministry of our church is one of the most fulfilling ministries you can be involved with; it is hands on ministry with adults and children alike. One of our greatest fields of harvest is in the Hispanic community. Each week this ministry of our church reaches into predominately Hispanic communities sharing the love of Jesus. Our services are bilingual; translation is available in every service. This ministry reaches nearly 200 students and includes Daycare services, Before and After School Programs and an Abeka based Christian School for grades K3-6th. Intercessory Prayer time is an opportunity to seek God for yourself, for others, for our church, and for the nations. Each Monday evening at 7:00 PM we offer the opportunity for people to come seek the Lord. Led by Pastor Charity Wilson, Latter Rain Music Ministry touches the lives of many through a dedicated choir, praise team, and a wonderful group of musicians. If you are interested in ministering through song, special programs and musicals, we invite you to join Latter Rain Music Ministries. Our choir practices each Thursday at 7:30 PM. Oasis Media Ministries is a wonderful place to volunteer. Each of our services are recorded on Audio Cassette, Compact Disk, DVD, and Video Cassette, and are available for purchase. If you are interested in purchasing one of our services or would like to assist in tape duplication see our Media director Sherri Schmidt or contact her at sherri@oasisworldoutreach.org Do you have an interest in lights, action, and cameras? Perhaps the video ministry of our church would interest you. Each Sunday service is recorded on video and DVD and is available immediately after service. If you have experience in this area or are interested in becoming involved please contact our sound technician Vince Premer at vince@oasisworldoutreach.org If you are computer savvy and would like to assist with video projection we have a place for you. Men's Bible StudyOur men’s Bible study meets the 4th Sunday of each month at 5:00 PM. Led by Elder Dennis Huebner, the men of Oasis World Outreach gathered together to study the Word of God, fellowship, and to prepare ourselves to become strong men, husbands, and fathers. Ministry of the ArtsAt Oasis World Outreach we believe that God uses our creativity to reveal Himself to us, that through our gifts and talents He can be glorified. Through dance and drama, through skits and various creative arts we express our love and devotion to the Lord and minister to the people. We have several areas of ministry in the arts that you can be involved with: Destiny’s Child Dance Ministry ministers through dance involving children ages 8-11. This ministry meets the 1st and 3rd Monday evenings of each month to practice at 7:00 PM. This fine group of ladies expression worship through interpretive dance. A nursery is provided for age’s birth-3 for each service. We provide quality care and protection for your children with a trained staff of child care workers. We believe in their future and that their future is now. Each week we present the message of God’s love to dozen’s of children on their level, through games and activities, through sermon and song, through various activities throughout the year. Super Kid's Church is reaching out to the children of our community. Our kid’s ministries is divided into two age groups: Reflections Wee Church, which ministers to ages 3-5, Pastor Michelle Axthelm leads this ministry and can be contacted at michelle@oasisworldoutreach.org. Super Kid’s Church led by Pastor Dawn Haas, ministers to ages 6-12. Should you need prayer, counseling, hospital visitation, or an ear to listen our office of pastoral care is available to you. SportsThis is a community wide sports program that includes Cheerleading, Flag Football, Soccer, and Softball. Rock Sports is one of the leading sports programs in Pasco County, touching over 1000 youth per season. This group of forever young and highly respected people have much to offer. Monthly gatherings provide opportunities for fun, food, and fellowship, road trips, prayer support, and the development of friendships. This ministry is directed by Pastors Stanley and Fern Sloan. This exciting ministry impacts women on many levels, from singing and worshiping, teaching and times of refreshing, to crafts and creative times of fellowship, this group is actively developing relationships with women in faith. This evening is specifically designed for women to join with other women and discover the joy of Christian faith.
