> History of Oasis World Outreach
Founded in 1947, the Oasis World Outreach began in the small retirement
town of Zephyrhills with a burden to see the manifest works of the
Holy Spirit in their community.
Moving to its present location in 1980, the church became an established
lighthouse in the East Pasco area. With high expectations, this
body of believers began envisioning a ministry that operated in
the power of the New Testament Church.
In April of 1994, Michael and Tena Sloan assumed their roles as
Senior Pastors and began working to make this vision a reality.
Taking the church from an average attendance of 85, Pastor Sloan
was instrumental in expanding the church membership, unlimited expecations,
and ministry opportunities.
Today Oasis World Outreach thrives as a 725 member body that continues
to grow under the direction of the Holy Spirit. Over 100 various
discipleship and outreach ministries comprise a well-organized effort
to reach our world for Jesus! Oasis World Outreach employs several
full-time staff members and countless volunteers committed to reaping
the harvest.
